My research question is "How can the students at Job Corps be more motivated and how can Job Corps image be made more desirable in society?" The reason I'm addressing this question is because the student I was working with had a very negative attitude towards Job Corps, also there is a very high drop out rate for the program.
The students may not like being told what to do and my not be able to relate to me. I will deal with them by showing both my credibility, a high school graduate attending college, and by showing that I care.
The aim of the project is to help Job Corps retain students.
I will go about the project by pointing out alternatives and showing the students generally just how good they have it with the program. The positives out weigh that of the negative.
The question and concerns I have right now is just finding research data, what kind of articles should I be searching for that would fit my audience?
